The stadium’s name: New Field

As an opposition to the old playing field, when this Stadium was inaugurated under the name of Futbol Club Barcelona Stadium, everyone started calling it Camp Nou (new field) to differentiate it from the former one – Camp de Les Corts. Although this name was not official everyone used it, and it was not until 2001 that the club member’s voted for it as the official name.

Camp Nou Museum

Inside the arena, one of the most visited Museums in the city awaits to be discovered. The place for true fans to discover all the insights about the team, the trophies won and much more about the club and its players. It has a special section dedicated to Messi’s history & individual prizes.

The access can only be purchased within a tour named “Camp Nou Experience”, in which you’ll discover everything about the FC Barcelona.
